Woodville Concert Band is a community concert band of 30 members situated in the Western suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia, and is affiliated with the City of Charles Sturt. The Band's membership represents a good mix of ages and abilities on Woodwind, Brass and Percussion.
Biography
The Woodville Concert Band has a long history of creativity and success. Founded in the 1970s by the now City of Charles Sturt council, the band now plays and encourages performances of new and creatives works in new ways and advocates bringing music to greater audiences with community involvement.
The band prides itself on its new and unique approach to the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble genre, performing new original works wherever possible.
