The Neville Dunn Orchestra was formed in November 1962 for a series of broadcasts by the Australian Broadcasting Commission. The success of this series stamped the orchestra as a front rank group in it's field. The band was heavily involved with the Adelaide Festival of Arts and featured prominent Adelaide musicians.
