The Hotel Metropolitan (A.K.A The Metro) was built in 1883 has been trading as a pub ever since. The Metro is a supporter of live original music with gigs on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (and sometimes Sunday too). It has featured local talent along with interstate and international acts in the band-room which fronts onto the open-air courtyard at the rear of the hotel.
