Steering By Stars was a post-punk band from Adelaide. They released two albums, 'Cables' and 'The Cold Embrace'.
Steering by Stars supported Parades, Jack Ladder and the Dreamlanders and Leader Cheetah. Steering by Stars were chosen to open the Adelaide Laneway Festival in 2012 and subsequently toured the east coast of Australia with sleepmakeswaves. Steering by Stars also toured nationally in support of their second release 'The Cold Embrace'.
They announced an indefinite hiatus in March 2014.
