Duthy St Studio was a home 4-track studio that opened its doors to any band or artist who wanted to record a demo. The studio was well known as the Duthy St Studio, but was also known as Rod Bouchers home studio and was most active in a period centred around the year 1979. It was a small non-for-profit studio and not a commercial venture that made use of a TEAC quarter inch 4 track machine. It had a live desk, not a studio desk. Bands provided the tape and most gave $20 to cover power costs.
